I'm Chris Broad and I'm an artist living and working in Bewdley, Worcestershire.
My day job sees me working for a local NHS Trust, but in the past few years, I have found a renewed relaxation and joy in art. I'm not professionally trained, but have taken some lessons from a local professional artist who has helped me to develop my skills.

Whilst COVID-19 necessitated me to shield, it has also given me an opportunity to spend much of my spare time on my painting.
This has not only helped me through isolation and separation from the wider world, it has also helped me to get out and about again into the countryside around us.

We're very fortunate to live in such a lovely area, and although not solely where I take my inspiration from, it has, most recently, been a big influence in my watercolour painting.

I paint a variety of watercolour, acrylics and oils, as well as landscape subjects and abstract.
